GSM, GPRS & EDGE Explained

Equips the delegate with a good overview of the role, features and operation of the General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) and the Enhanced Data Rate for Global Evolution (EDGE) technology. The GPRS architecture, interfaces, procedures and traffic cases are all explained, together with billing issues, mobility and interworking with other networks. The course also explores how EDGE can be used to raise data rates in a GSM network and to enhance GPRS-based services.
